My Tormented FED Seminar Photo

Look, I even found a picture from the FED seminar, which I will post despite this less than flattering expression I have snapped.

But look at what that expression is saying. Can you see it? It's saying, "This is just great! Look around me! Here I am neck deep in beauty, mouth-watering vogue and irresistible simplicity--and I'm on PS!" You can slice the torment with a knife, can't you.
Kids, it's better to... obey.

Love, Joe.

Fetching Fridays

I am mistake-prone, but I was young then, stupid I would say. Still am, but this one I have learned from (though it frustrates me no less).

Love, Joe.

Fetching Fridays

I've been sitting here for the better part of ten minutes trying to describe what I think about these people in English. It's difficult, because these are some of my favourite women ever.
When I was stuck in a tough situation, some of these would come over, bring us food, chat, make us feel like accepted Family again. They are beautiful, sweet beyond describability, dancers, singers.
And that one in the middle, that's Cristina. Special mention because I swiped this photo from her blog, so I hope she doesn't mind. I don't know her so well but we recently had some personal devotions together, sprawled out in the meadow, and she is an absolutely lovable, deep person. I rave. Check out this CRAZYSEXYCOOL article from her I just found. Wild. Love you, Cristina.

Love, Joe.

XN 80, Page 18, Day 5

I'm doing this gratitude activity in the XN and today's is to write a note to your parents with 5 things about your childhood that you appreciate, and slip it under their door. Here's your door.

I appreciate the education I received. Not necessarily the book work, etc, but the intelligent way you looked at life, theorizing about how could hair possibly grow back thicker when you cut it, and answering any question I could come up with. A good foundation to have.

I appreciate the encouragement you were (are) about just about any and all foolish notions I get into my head, supporting me and them even if they were untolerably bad ideas at the beginning (like writing a first novel, making a first album, etc).

I appreciate that you fed me big meals, not only allowing me to eat much but giving me a good foundation in cuisine and cooking.

I appreciate your persistence in our spiritual development, shoving ENDs down our throats when we wouldn't sit still for anything else.

I appreciate your faithful, relentless care almost singlehandedly for nearly 10 years straight. That's a lot of time to put up with the monsters that we are.

So thank you! And I love you!
I think I'm going to post this, so everyone can know. heheheh.

Fetching Fridays

This is a beautiful family. I like them. I like their spirits a lot. If you live near them, call them up and send my heartfelt love, will you? Thanks!

Joe.
